Achievements and Honors of the Research Center

• Achieved first place among medical research centers in the field of neuroscience

• Recognized as the top research center at Kerman University of Medical Sciences since its establishment in 1995  to the present

• Received the Razi Festival Award in 2000 

• Achieved first place nationally in the Written Works Festival on Drugs and Substance Abuse, organized by the Drug Control Headquarters of the Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in 2010, 2013, and 2014

• Delivered lectures on addiction for school principals from all counties of Kerman Province

• Organized and coordinated scientific and research meetings, as well as specialized scientific roundtables on addiction (25 sessions)

• Received the Afzalipour Provincial Award by one of the center’s faculty members

• Provided effective educational and research support for the PhD program in Neuroscience
